Big Bang Fair South East 2020

The Big Bang Fair South East is back on the 1st and 2nd July 2020!

An extravaganza of shows, workshops and hands-on displays for students 9 to 19 years old. Held at the South of England Showground (West Sussex RH17 6TL) over the 1st and 2nd of July 2020, it provides a unique festival atmosphere with a mix of marquees, agricultural buildings and outdoor space.

Free for schools to attend and no limit of students welcome, this annual event gives students a great insight into the range of STEM careers that are available, with the aim of inspiring them to continue studying STEM subjects and later pursue STEM careers with a view to reduce the STEM skills gap.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet inspirational STEM role models from over 200 employers including: apprentices; graduates and STEM Ambassadors.
  • Discuss the wide variety of STEM career opportunities in a fun and inspirational environment.
  • Enter into the prestigious Big Bang UK Young Scientist & Engineers Competition where they will present their work to judges.
  • To get a flavour of the event watch highlights from the 2019 Big Bang Fair South East to see why it’s so popular with students, teachers and employers alike.

Our annual event, is the largest STEM event in the national Big Bang Near Me programme, led by EngineeringUK and the culmination of Crawley STEMfest.
